RamblingAndy/RA/AtlBachelor – Andy, our protagonist. A man approaching his late 20s, realizing how much he has matured since this blog’s inauguration. Has some of the best friends he could ever ask for and a penchant for good food and catchy tunes. Trying to cultivate a successful life for himself and share his love of women, with women.
Luke – RA’s bearded tag-team partner of 20 years. At one point, he was known as the “crunkest white boy in town.” Now he barely manages to pop it on the weekends. A dog lover who has recently moved back to Atlanta to accept a better job with fringe benefits, like a laptop and gym membership.
Corey – RA’s brother. Cautious about doing anything with his life outside of assembling patio furniture and jamming to Scandinavian death metal.
Patrick – Developed a strong friendship during RA’s career as a pharmacy bitch. Enjoys lap dances, classic indie bands and going to concerts when no one else will. Currently holds the title of “Dated the Hottest Pharmacist on Earth” and buying her “the greatest giraffe ever.”
J – RA’s ex-love and grand-prize-winner in the Match game. Quintessential hot teacher type, who’s day cannot begin without something sugary from Starbucks. She loves her dog more than most people and loves designing colorguard shows and Bravo more than her dog. RA realizes they weren’t a great match, yet misses her. She and RA recently decided to try it again.
Smack – RA’s friend in our neighbor to the northeast, Athens. Their friendship is now strained by distance and people’s tendency to grow apart.
Tricia – RA has known her since preschool, but their good friendship really develop until post-college when she helped him get his foot in the door at work. She and Luke were kinda-sorta a couple in high school.
Phil – He and RA once drove an egg-shaped truck from upstate New York to Boston, then put on events across the States. The man has an inexplicable aura of cool about him. The bossman says he looks like Matthew McConaughey. He and RA share similar musical tastes and is always good for undiscovered bands and a bar buddy.
Janell – Probably RA’s closest female friend at this point. They became friends as interns and bonded while managing a command center and during 4AM peptalks in the middle of nowhere.
